SureFood includes a dedicated Branded Web Portal for Suppliers that can be shared with organisations outside Nutritics. If the Profile Card is a shareable, digital business card, the Branded Web Portal is a shareable, digital product catalogue.
Anyone you share your Branded Web Portal with will be able to search through all the validated, published data you have on Nutritics, review your company information and certifications, get an overview of your company’s supply chain, and access information about how to retrieve your company’s Nutritics data via the Nutritics API.
To access and share your portal, click on the Share Portal button in the top-right of your screen:
You will be brought to your Branded Web Portal with the Sharing Options open:
In Sharing Options, there are 4 tabs to choose from: Link, Email, QR, and Embed.
The Link tab provides you with a web address you can copy and send to whoever you want:
The Email tab allows you to enter an email address and send access via email:
The QR tab shows you the QR code for your Branded Web Portal and allows you to download it for sharing:
The Embed tab provides you with a HTML <iframe> that allows you to embed a link to your Branded Web Portal on your website:
When the Sharing Options are closed, you will see the three main Branded Web Portal tabs: Company, Supply Chain, and API.
By default, you will be on the Company tab. Similar to the Profile Card, this includes your company’s logo, a description of your company, all of your company’s contact information, and any certificates & accreditations you have uploaded to your account:
The Supply Chain tab gives you a visual overview of your global supply chain, this includes a breakdown of your most popular food categories, a map showing the different countries of origin of your products and a percentage breakdown of the same. The Supply Chain tab looks like this:
The API tab includes instructions for accessing your data via the Nutritics API. This will allow your customers to pull your data via the Nutritics API without any overhead for you. The API tab looks like this:
The most important part of the Branded Web Portal is the Product Catalogue.
This provides a way for you to share all of the validated, published data you have on Nutritics, even with non-Nutritics users.
The Product Catalogue can be found in the top-left corner of the Supplier Portal:
Here you can search through a Supplier’s entire published catalogue by typing in the name of a Food or clicking on one of the listed Food Categories.
When you search by name or category, all the matching foods in the Supplier’s catalogue will appear in the results. Clicking on a food in the results will open a detailed Nutritics Product Specification for that food.
For Suppliers, this is an easy way to centralise your product catalogue and share all of the validated, published data you have on Nutritics with any of your clients instantly even if the client is not registered on Nutritics.
