Nutritics, the global leader in menu management software, has been shortlisted for the World Food Innovation Awards 2020 in the category “Best Foodservice Technology Innovation”.

The World Food Innovation Awards recognise excellence and innovation across every category of the global food industry. Award nominees were put through a rigorous evaluation process, which is reviewed by a highly experienced judging panel from the sector. Other shortlisted companies include ALDI, Danone, Franke Coffee Systems and JR Simplot. The winners will be announced at the annual awards event at HRC (London ExCel) on March 4th, 2020.

Commenting on the announcement Nutritics COO Stephen Nolan said: “We are honored to be a finalist for such a major global award. Nutritics is changing the way operators use technology in their business. It allows you to trust the information and focus on maximising value.

“Nutritics is designed to meet all the needs of foodservice businesses, from engaging with your supply partners to understand product information, recipe and menu management, through to leveraging your menu to deliver an enhanced customer experience. Being shortlisted is a great recognition of our work to date as we continue on our mission to provide accurate and reliable food information when it matters most.”

Emma Upshal, FoodBev Media news reporter, said: “After witnessing another year of exciting product launches, we are delighted to celebrate the sixth year of the annual World Food Innovation Awards at HRC (London ExCel). Brands are continuing to keep up with the latest trends and we have been fascinated by the quality and creativity of our entrants. We have seen new flavour combinations, smart packaging designs, and revolutionary technology, many representing the rise of the health-conscious consumer and a more sustainable food industry.

“The World Food Innovation Awards celebrates some of the most ambitious new products and developments of the year across both established brands and start-ups. We can’t wait to share a fine representation of what we believe the future holds for food innovation.”
