Nutritics acquires innovative accessibility menu solution Good Food Talks - find out more →

Your security is important to us, so we're excited to announce that Nutritics is introducing two-factor authentication (‘2FA’) to add an additional level of security to your account for your peace of mind.

Read on for a brief explanation of what this new feature involves, how to enable it on your Nutritics account and how it will improve your account security.

What is 2FA?

An acronym for ‘two-factor authentication’, 2FA is simply an extra layer of security used to double-check that anyone trying to gain access to an online account is who they say they are.

What’s changing?

Once 2FA is in place, when logging into Nutritics, you’ll be asked to enter your username and password as usual. However, instead of immediately gaining access, you will be required to provide a second piece of information in order to verify your identity.

How can I turn on 2FA for my account?

We recommend enabling 2FA now to enhance the security of your account. Simply go to Settings>Preferences and look for the 2FA option. For your convenience, you also have the option of choosing ‘Remember me on this device for 90 days'.

Do I have to enable 2FA?

Two-factor authentication is currently optional for all Nutritics users. However, we do recommend that you turn it on in your settings, as it will help to keep your account safe and secure.

IMPORTANT: Please note that, in order to maintain a high level of security for all of our customers, 2FA will be enabled automatically on all new and existing Nutritics accounts from May 31st, 2023.
