Cooking Instructions & Notes
method

  1. Peel and slice the onions.
  2. Crush the garlic.
  3. Dice the carrots.
  4. Brush & 1/4 the mushrooms.
  5. Heat the milk & 300ml of water. Add the mustard & Henderson's. Thicken with the corn flour.
  6. Heat a large pan and add the beef mince. Dry fry till browned
  7. Add the onions, puree, garlic, carrots, mushrooms & oregano and continue to cook for 5-6 minutes.
  8. Add 400ml of the water, stock, chopped tomato, passata and simmer until the beef is cooked and sauce is thickened.
  9. Sauté the Quorn mince, or bake in a hot oven to color. Add to the sauce.
  10. Spoon some of the sauce into a service dish. Layer with the Lasagne sheets. Repeat twice more and top the final layer of Lasagne sheets with the béchamel. Correct seasoning.
  11. Sprinkle on the grated cheese and bake in a hot oven for 30-35 minutes until golden.
